The following is basic information:

Age Matrix: We will continue using the new age matrix that was mandated by the M.S.Y.S.A/U.S.Y.S..  Please review the new matrix. (See Age Groups below for additional information)

Registration Fees: The cost for registration for the 2023 Spring Season will be $50/PLAYER.  Any registration AFTER the dates that will be announced - will have a late fee added.

Registration Special Requests: WYSL will try to accommodate ONE special request made during the registration process for each family.  If multiple requests are entered, they are not guaranteed.  (i.e. player request, sibling request) 

Registration Limits:  There are a limited number of spots available in each age group.  

Age Groups: W.Y.S.L. is a member of US Youth Soccer.  Our age groups are mandated by this organization.  Player classification for the soccer year will now be determined by the player’s BIRTH YEAR.   NOTE: DUE TO ISSUES WITH THE BIRTH YEAR MATRIX VS BIRTH MONTH THE LEAGUE CHANGED THE AGE GROUPS IN THE FALL OF 2018.  THESE CHANGES WILL CONTINUE. .AGE GROUPS WILL BE 7U, 9U, 11U, 13U, AND 15U.  For additional details on the age groups, select Age Group Information under the Registration tab. 

Fields: W.Y.S.L. utilizes multiple venues for practice and games.  We are not able to guarantee at which field a team will be located.  Please keep this in mind when registering your child especially if you have siblings that could possibly be playing at two different locations. 

Uniforms: First time U7 (now 7 and under) participants will receive a jersey that is paid for in the registration fee. All other age groups will participate in their own teams uniform selection for an additional fee.  

Coaching: The coaches for our recreational teams are volunteers. We welcome any parent that would like to coach their child’s team.  If you are interested in coaching, please contact us at [email protected].
